Q. What is the difference between replacing tiles and reglazing/refinishing them?
When you replace tiles, you remove the old tiles and replace them with new tiles. Reglazing or refinishing tiles is the process of applying a paint like coating on your existing tiles to give them a new look.
Q. How does reglazing/refinishing work?
Typically, a project starts by cleaning the surfaces that are going to be refinished. After cleaning, the areas are etched by acid so that the product will be able to properly adhere to the surface. The walls, fixtures and floors will be masked off with masking paper and tape for protection, then the primer is applied. Finally, a top coat is applied to the surface and your new space is ready to go!
Q. How long does this take?
This will all depend on the project but typically a tub only takes a couple of hours! If the project is a tub and tile it can take a couple of days. For a more concrete timeline, give me a call!
Q. What are the benefits to your services as opposed to getting brand new tiles?
Simply put, I am faster and cheaper!
Q. How long will this last?
First, it depends on the quality of the work, product and care. I utilize the best product and have expertise and experience that allows for the optimal result. To care for your newly finished space be sure to steer clear of abrasive cleaners and heavy doses of bleach and bleach type cleaners. If done properly, you will be able to get an additional 5-10 years (maybe more) out of your tub and tiles.
Q. Do you provide a warranty?
I offer a one year warranty to the original customer, however, I am a very fair and honest person and often times will warranty way past one year.
Q. How do I need to prepare for the service?
I will need everything possible out of the working area such as rugs, curtains, pictures, toiletries, etc.
Q. What if I have a design change after I hire you?
Not a problem, just communicate with me.
Q. How much does this cost? How do you establish cost?
Prices vary for each job. Factors are size, accessibility, distance traveled, desired color and of course what you are wanting refinished. I will always give you the price before I start the job and in most cases can price over the phone. I have been doing this work for almost 30 years and I have seen almost all types of bathrooms.
Q. Do you have references?

Q. Who will be working in my home?
I will be working in your home and only me. This is my company and I am the owner, worker, estimator and so on.
Q. Do I need to be there when you are working?
You do not have to be there while I am working. If you would feel more comfortable then you are able to be there but I have many years of experience and reviews and want you to know that your home is in great hands.
Q. What is the best way to reach you before/during or after a job?
